Please make an appointment with the practice nurse as early as possible, at least 6 weeks in advance, to discuss the health implications of your visit abroad. Further appointments will be required to actually receive the vaccinations and allow them time to work. The vaccines may need to be ordered, as they are not stocked.

Remember antimalarial prophylaxis may need to be started a few weeks before travel to give you adequate protection.
