Getting Help Out of Hours

The highest standards of patient-centred healthcare

If you require medical advice or attention when we are closed, you have these options:

NHS 111

If you have an urgent problem outside of Surgery hours that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens, please call NHS 111.

Calls are free of charge from mobile and landlines. This service is operated by the NHS and available 24 hours per day throughout the year.

NHS 111 may direct you to the clinical team at PrimeCare who are commissioned by Birmingham Cross City CCG to provide some out of hours services.

Pharmacy

Your local pharmacist will also be able to give you free health advice and you do not need an appointment. NHS 111 can direct you to a pharmacy that operates extended hours on a rota basis.

Local Urgent Treatment Centre

If our surgery is closed and you need to see a doctor, you may attend the NHS Urgent Treatment Centre. No appointment necessary but you must ring ahead.
